Your new puzzle lineup is ready! This week’s new puzzle’s will be the perfect additions to your CTP wishlist if you have a sweet tooth or are an animal lover! We’ve got bears, horses, owls, dogs, cats, donuts, jelly beans, gummy bears, and so much more to see!
This week there are two new Dowdle Folk Art puzzles, a new puzzle from Peter Pauper Press, and two new Cobble Hill puzzles!
All of these puzzles you’re about to see are cute, but one of them stands out as my new favorite puzzle in our collection. You’ll have to keep reading to find out which one it is! Enjoy!
First up, Animals of Canada from Dowdle Folk Art. We love animals, we love Dowdle puzzles, and we love a good challenge. This puzzle combines everything we love into one awesome puzzle! It’s 1000 pieces and has the cutest illustrations of animals you can find in Canada. You’ll see polar bears, a grizzly bear, a bison, a moose, a harp seal, and a beaver in this puzzle art!
The best part about this puzzle? All the animals are dressed in their best hockey and winter gear! The beaver in the center even has a hockey stick and hockey ice skates! Plus, you’ll get that classic folk art style illustrations that makes Dowdle puzzles so unique.
Fun fact: Completing the Puzzle is based in Texas and our office is located in our state’s capital, Austin, TX! So we obviously we had to get this Best of Texas puzzle from Dowdle Folk Art into our collection! It’s 500 pieces with some of the biggest Texas landmarks drawn around the edges of the picture with the state as the center focus of the puzzle.
Some places you can expect to see in this puzzle include San Antonio’s riverwalk and the Alamo, Texas A&M University in College Station, University of Texas at Austin, and the southeast beach city of Galveston. Each city has a rich history that has shaped the culture you find in Texas and we hope our non-Texan members get a chance to complete this puzzle to learn more about our state!
As promised, this 500-piece puzzle is for all our puzzlers with a sweet tooth! Candy Shelf has all the candy you love in one image. Collage-style puzzles like this are a customer favorite and we’re sure many of you will be excited to complete this puzzle with colorful jars of jelly beans, gummy bears, gummy worms, jolly ranchers, sour skittles, and m&m’s!
There are so many candies to choose from, I think I would get lost in this puzzle trying to figure out which one I want to eat the most. Of course, then I’d have to go to the store to buy some candy to satisfy my sweet tooth! You have our apologies in advance if we accidentally make you go splurge on yummy candies after completing this puzzle. Everyone deserves a little sweet treat once in a while!
Another puzzle for those of you with a sweet tooth! We love donut puzzles and are excited to add this new 1000-piece Doughnuts puzzle from Cobble Hill to our collection of puzzles to rent! These donuts (or is it doughnuts?) look delicious! It may be an expert level puzzle, but since most of the donuts have distinct patterns and colors, we think it’s going to be a breeze to puzzle! However, usually when we think a puzzle will be easier than other 1000-piece puzzles, it ends up taking the longest to complete. Either way, you’re definitely going to to have a fun puzzling experience with us and this Doughnuts puzzle!
We’d like to apologize again for this puzzle if it makes you eat a lot of donuts. Though, that’s what the holiday season is for, right? Eating all the yummy desserts and worrying about it later in the new year. At least, that’s what we do! You better add this to your wishlist while it’s available to make sure you get a better chance at receiving it!
Finally, we’ve made it to my favorite new puzzle we have for you all this week. Look how adorable it is! Even if you’re not a cat person, you have to admit these playful and sleeping kitties are so cute! The name of this puzzle is House of Cats from Peter Pauper Press, in case you wanted to go add it to your wishlist immediately! That’s what I would be doing now if I were you…
Seriously, how fun is this puzzle! It’s 1000 pieces, so it will be more challenging but the end result will be so cute. House of Cats has earned a spot in the list of my top five favorite puzzles in the CTP catalog! I love the pastel and bright colors, the variety of houseplants, and all the cats with distinct personalities. All my favorite elements combined into one puzzle—it can’t get any better than this!
There you have it! All of the new puzzles you’ll be seeing in our puzzle collection today! Did you see any you liked that you’d want to complete? If you said yes, we have a wishlist feature where you can add puzzles you love to a personalized list! When shipping your next puzzle we pick from this wishlist first to make sure you receive puzzles you’ve been waiting to complete!
Just to remind you, it’s not always guaranteed you’ll get a puzzle from your wishlist, as we have many more members than copies of a specific puzzle. When it is time to pack your puzzle, one from your wishlist will be chosen first if it is available. However, if no puzzle from your wishlist is available, a puzzle will be chosen using your default level and theme preferences.
However, the more puzzles on your wishlist, the more likely you will be to receive one! And don't forget, we’re always adding more puzzles to the catalog, so stay tuned for our next blog post with even more new puzzles!
At Completing the Puzzle, we're always adding new puzzles that members can add to their wishlist. Plus, you can also specify your desired difficulty level and build a wish list of the puzzles you want to receive. When you’re done with a puzzle, simply ship it back to us and we’ll send off your next one.
