New Puzzles - Week of October 10th!

Hey puzzle friends!! Guess what day it is?! That’s right…it’s new puzzle day! You’ll be seeing new puzzles from Fred + Friends, New York Puzzle Company, and Eurographics Puzzles added to our puzzle catalog today! As always, we have a tasty selection of puzzles to offer you: three 1000-piece puzzles for our experts, and two 500-piece puzzles for our intermediates.

P.S. One of the 500-piece puzzles is a panoramic puzzle!! Keep reading to see what the new puzzles are all about!

Ice Pops

We’re starting strong with 500-piece Ice Pops from Fred! While it’s frustrating to have your popsicles melt off the stick when you’re eating them, they sure make a pretty puzzle image of melted sweet treats! I love this rainbow assortment of popsicles all stacked together because the artist, Dan Saelinger, makes them look frozen in time (pardon the pun, I couldn’t resist the popsicle humor!). My favorite puzzles are photos of moments that have been perfectly captured, so I can’t wait to complete this puzzle.

Some of our other collage puzzles of popsicles like Popsicle Rainbow from Eurographics or Popsicles from Galison can feel more rigid since they organize and arrange their popsicles in a much more geometric manner compared to Ice Pops. I like that Ice Pops has the popsicles mixed and overlapping as if they are melting into each other. It makes the puzzle more challenging, which is always fun if you want to put your pro puzzling skills to the test!

Marauder's Map

I don’t know about you, but the fall season always = Harry Potter movie marathon time. That’s why this 1000-piece Marauder’s Map puzzle from New York Puzzle Company is the perfect addition to our catalog this week! It has those muted browns, oranges, yellows, and greens—which also happens to be the color palette of autumn!

For any non-Harry Potter fans, this puzzle is all about when Harry is walking through the halls of Hogwarts using the Marauder’s Map given to him by his friend Ron’s brothers. This map magically shows where everyone in Hogwarts is walking in real time! I can’t even imagine the chaos if this kind of map were real! This map is also where the infamous Harry Potter quote “I solemnly swear I am up to no good” comes from! We love adding New York Puzzle Company Harry Potter puzzles to our catalog, and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

Midnight Migration

The other 500-piece puzzle we have for you is Midnight Migration by New York Puzzle Company, but this one is a little different because it’s a panoramic puzzle! Half the size of a regular puzzle, but just as much fun, guaranteed!

Do any bird watchers out there know what kind of birds are on this puzzle? I’m not a bird expert so I can’t tell you what they are, but they look very majestic flying through this crisp full moon night sky. I love the brightness of the moon fading into that deep dark blue! This is a peaceful image, so if you want to meditate on a relaxing puzzle, Midnight Migration is for you!

Miss Moon's Bike

Another puzzle today from New York Puzzle Company! Except, Miss Moon’s Bike is 1000-pieces for all our expert puzzlers out there! My favorite thing about New York Puzzle Company is their ability to make cute and whimsical puzzle art like this one. I love how focused Miss Moon is on her and her dogs getting to their destination. They’re all paying attention to putting in equal work on their parts of the bike—the only one not working hard is the adorable little white dog relaxing in the bike’s basket!

Dogs doing things dogs aren’t usually supposed to do make the best puzzle art, in my opinion, and New York Puzzle Company is doing an amazing job of bringing that to life in their beautiful puzzles. Don’t wait, add it to your wishlist now so you can complete this puzzle next!

Bead Collection

Where are all my fellow puzzlers/crafters out there?! This is a 1000-piece puzzle called Bead Collection by Eurographics Puzzles. I bet this image looks very familiar to you if you’re like me and have a hard time keeping your crafting supplies neat and organized! I like to think that a messy workspace just means you’re creating something so incredible that it’s worth making a mess for. I mean, what would an artist be without their creative work-in-progress space?

This puzzle is making me want to reach into the picture and grab a few beads to make a cute bracelet! I imagine it would be fairly easy to sort the pieces for it too, since most of the compartments contain beads of different colors. Don’t be afraid to add this to your wishlist because it might turn out to be less challenging than you anticipate once you start puzzling!

That’s all the new puzzles I have for you today! We hope you enjoyed our new puzzle round-up and are quickly making your way over to the Completing the Puzzle catalog so you can add each one you want to your wishlist!

And, as a reminder, we have many more members than copies of a specific puzzle. When it is time to pack your puzzle, one from your wishlist will be chosen first if it is available. However, if no puzzle from your wishlist is available, a puzzle will be chosen using your default level and theme preferences. The more puzzles on your wishlist, the more likely you will be to receive one!

At Completing the Puzzle, we're always adding new puzzles that members can add to their wishlist. Plus, you can also specify your desired difficulty level and build a wish list of the puzzles you want to receive. When you’re done with a puzzle, simply ship it back to us and we’ll send off your next one.
