🧩 Richard @PieceByPiecePuzzler

Richard with a Mintyfizz puzzle!

Like many people facing down the uncertainty of the early days of the pandemic, Richard started puzzling in March 2020. He bought a couple of puzzles for his partner and him to do while they were stuck inside. He had done puzzles as a kid with his mom, and the rediscovery of puzzles has brought focus, calm and a sense of community to his life, both online and in person as a member of the Puzzle People of NYC.

He loves collages, bright colors, pop culture, comic book, and gradient puzzles. He says, “puzzling turns my mind to the “calm” setting. Suddenly, the problems of the day are usurped by whatever puzzle is currently on my board.” He started his YouTube channel to share his love of puzzling. The channel has also challenged him to try new and different things in the puzzle-verse like 3D puzzles!

When he’s not puzzling, he loves to read, go for walks, and explore all the museums and art that New York City has to offer. He works in the theatre industry, and thinks that having puzzling as a hobby is a nice juxtaposition to the hustle and bustle of the theatre world. Currently, he is an ambassador for Puzzle Warehouse and Art & Fable Puzzles, and loves being a part of the Puzzle People of NYC (founded by @puz_zlelover aka Sasha on IG).

🧩 Alex @PuzzlePathologist

Alex and her puzzle collection!

Alex is a speech-language pathologist by day, and an avid puzzler by night (and weekends). She grew up puzzling with her grandparents, but her love of puzzles and puzzle collection has grown so much over the last 5 years—to over 300 puzzles! Across all of the years and all of the different hobbies she would blow through, puzzles have been a constant passion of hers. It was only last year that she learned about the online puzzle community and decided to start sharing her puzzle journey with the internet.

She loves creating puzzle content, and especially loves having the opportunity to share how awesome and unique puzzles can be with people who don’t puzzle regularly. Some of her favorite series has been her “mini hands doing mini puzzles” series, and “puzzle brand passport series.” If you love learning about different puzzle brands or watching unique videos featuring puzzles, she’s a great person to follow on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook

🧩 Krystal @Krystalcotriss

Krystal Cotriss is an award-winning Graphic and Web Designer, typography enthusiast, puzzle addict, and penguin lover! One of her favorite client projects was working with puzzle brand Le Puzz to create gifs for Instagram! When she’s not puzzling, she loves listening to house music, collecting Target birds and Squishables, and exploring and going on nature walks with her husband, James. Her favorite animals are penguins, raccoons, and manatees!

Her Instagram page has tons of gorgeous puzzle related photos. From crisp and clear close-ups of puzzles she’s working on, to puzzle pick-up challenge posts, you’re sure to find some of the best puzzle content on her page! Although we are big fans of renting puzzles, her puzzle storage system is absolutely stunning!

🧩 Rell @RelishPuzzles

If you’re looking for a puzzler abroad, look no further than Rell of @RelishPuzzles! Located in South Australia, Rell keeps the whole world updated on puzzle news through her “Puzzle Buzz” segments. She also posts amazing photos and reviews on a wide variety of puzzles, and especially likes to post about Australian brands!

She’s been puzzling since October of 2020, and her go-to jigsaw puzzle piece count is 1000 pieces. She aspires to do an 18,000 piece puzzle someday. She enjoys puzzles featuring dogs, lines, buildings, and whimsical images. She is married and has two children, a 20 year old son and a 16 year old daughter. When she’s not puzzling, you’ll usually find her playing a video game or two, or out with her husband deciding on where to find a good cheeseburger.
