At Completing the Puzzle, we only carry premium puzzle brands as part of our membership. We also try to provide access to independent puzzle makers, minority owned puzzle makers, and others you may be less familiar with.
One of the great things about a Completing the Puzzle membership, and having an endless supply of rentable puzzles, is that it allows you to try new puzzle brands you may be unfamiliar with. Who knows? You may even find your new favorite brand you never knew existed!
We also know that some of you may be looking for certain qualities in your puzzles - no better, no worse, just different. For example, you may prefer ribbon cut puzzles (puzzles cut in a straight grid) or random cut (no grid, and random shapes).
In order to help you better select puzzles across a variety of brands that are sure to delight YOU, I have put together a series of blog posts highlighting our various brands. I will discuss what makes each brand unique and why we LOVE them and why we chose them to be part of our Completing the Puzzle catalog.
Today I'm discussing one brand new brand to us - BetterCo., as well as two well loved brands, Cobble Hill and eeBoo Piece and Love. Let's get to it!
BetterCo. is all about the quality - both in the puzzle and in the art - and it shows! The founder, Vin, has a background in design, and his passion for bringing stunning images and original works of art to puzzles is evident.
We LOVE the bright, modern images that make the puzzles a breeze to do. Although we only started with 6 different images to test out the durability and quality, we are ready to add more of these beauties to our collection. The puzzle pieces are pretty glossy, which means the puzzle itself will be bright and really "pop", but you may have some challenges with finding the right lighting so that you do not get a glare while puzzling.
The puzzles are ribbon cut, with 5 different shapes, and fit together great. You may have one or two pieces that are tricksters and could potentially fit in the wrong place, but overall we LOVE the fact that the pieces fit together very well and it is very clear where each piece goes. You'll get that satisfying click when you place your pieces!
Lastly, we always LOVE supporting other small businesses, so we were happy to be able to find an independent puzzle company with such great puzzles!

Cobble Hill Puzzles has only been in business since 2005, but their high quality and nostalgic images may make you think they have been around much longer. They have something for everyone in their puzzles. They have images of country landscapes, mythical creatures, Americana, collages of food (cookies, YUM), and more!
We LOVE the beautiful images of Cobble Hill puzzles. No matter what theme of puzzle you pick, the image is sure to be vibrant and beautiful. Those beautiful images are even easier to see when puzzling because Cobble Hill uses special textured linen paper to help reduce the glare from light (our eyes and back thank you!).
We know this is a personal preference, but we LOVE the random cut Cobble Hill pieces. Not only does it add an extra challenge, but it also makes it pretty hard to put a piece in a place it doesn't belong.
Something unique to Cobble Hill that we LOVE are their Family puzzles. These are 350 piece puzzles with pieces of different sizes that are designed to bring the entire family together to work on the same puzzle. The more experienced puzzlers can work on the small pieces, while newbies, small children, or puzzlers with less agility can work on the larger pieces. These puzzles are a great option when there are varying ages or abilities in your house, and we highly recommend them! If you want to try them out, just filter for brand "Cobble Hill" and piece size "350" in the catalog and add them to your wishlist.
eeBoo Piece and Love is a woman-owned company that creates beautiful, lasting puzzles.
We LOVE eeBoo's commitment to sustainability, which aligns perfectly with our company vision. eeBoo puzzles are made using recycled materials, with FSC®-certified paper (responsibly harvested paper), and vegetable-based inks. This is great for the planet, because their puzzles are designed with extremely high quality standards in mind that make them last.
We also LOVE the bright, colorful images that support diversity and inclusion. Something that is unique to eeBoo Piece and Love Puzzles is that all of their 500 piece puzzles are round, which is a fun change! Their puzzles are ribbon cut (even the round ones!), which can help putting them together if you like puzzling in straight rows.
