Is anyone else mesmerized by the swirling colors in this photo of the iconic Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis!? I know it’s only a puzzle, but I feel like it has physically transported me to this snowy, awe-inspiring light show.

The next stop on our tour of new puzzles to present to you today: Dan’s Ice Cream Van, another 1000-piece expert puzzle from Eurographics. I’ve never seen such a cute ice cream truck as this one! This puzzle definitely has a nostalgic feel for me, I used to love hearing the ice cream truck driving through my neighborhood as a kid! Now I’m remembering the panic of trying to find a few dollars in time before they drove away!
The kids in this puzzle look like they’re having a great time choosing the ice cream flavors they want, though, and the golden retriever in the front seat of the truck…I love the little elements they added to this puzzle! Strawberry or mint chocolate chip are two of my favorite ice cream flavors, but what flavor is your favorite?
Our new beginner-level puzzle for this week is Market Days on Fulton Street by Eurographics Puzzles. This puzzle also has larger pieces to help you get all the family members involved in the puzzling process!
Primary colors are the star of this puzzle and I love the old-timey fashion the people are wearing and the horse-drawn carriages! I’m a fan of looking through little markets like this, so I’d definitely add this puzzle to my wishlist as soon as possible! My favorite kinds of 300-piece Eurographics puzzles are the ones with these types of historical settings showing everyday life. We had to add this puzzle to our catalog because who doesn’t love a simple image that gives you a peek into the life of Americans from a long time ago? I know I do!
We haven’t added new puzzles from Fred + Friends in a while, so today’s the day we grow our Fred collection in the Completing the Puzzle catalog!
The first of our new Fred puzzles is Beach Trash—a 500-piece collage gradient of found items on the beach! I love the idea of making art out of trash left or forgotten at the beach. It brings new meaning to the phrase “one person’s trash is another person’s treasure”! Artist Emily Blincoe turned some formerly useless items into a perfect gradient in the sand. Then Fred put the photo on a puzzle for many more to enjoy the beautiful design!
In my opinion, the best part of this puzzle is the amount of old blue toothbrushes they were able to find to assemble for this image! Though I have to say, the lego, hair roller, and shy green bear at the bottom are my favorite objects in this puzzle!
I saved the best new puzzle for last! Living La Vida Lake (Ahhh) is one of the most unique expert-level puzzles we’ve added to our catalog lately. Fred’s design team created a cool and different spin on the lake landscape puzzle images we usually see! This puzzle is part of their Doodle Series, with images they refer to as “lively, rambunctious scenes”! That’s such a good description because how else could you describe a scene with 2 bears canoeing, aliens abducting fish from the water, and Bigfoot poking his head out of the woods? I’m not exactly sure what the catfish-merman-creature is to the right of the dock, but I love it!
A puzzle like this will keep you entertained as you work your way through completing it, so don’t forget to add it to your wishlist!
