We are always excited to try a new puzzle brand, and we hope you love them as much as we have! Mintyfizz puzzles are bright, colorful and vibrant. All of the artwork on the puzzles are an original and designed by Kelly, the owner of Mintyfizz.
In Stained Windows, the gradient colors are in blocked sections. Once you sort the colors, the challenge of a gradient doesn’t seem as overwhelming. One of my favorite parts of the Mintyfizz puzzles is the quality of the pieces. They are thick, well cut, and have that satisfying snap that we all love! They also have great liftability!
The Raven Addresses the Animals is a 1000 piece puzzle that depicts a painting from the 1500’s. If you like difficult animals and fine arts puzzles, this may be the puzzle for you! The colors are a little dark but there is enough variety that make this an intriguing puzzle. And, since it is a Pomegranate, it has those random cut pieces, adding further variety.
The Gathering is a 300 piece puzzle that has many fun and colorful layers. At the bottom, there are underwater animals swimming at the base of a waterfall and butterflies flying among the flowers. In the middle are animals hanging out in the trees and a swirling waterfall. At the top, you can see a bear perched on the top of the waterfall and birds flying under a rainbow.
In the 1000 piece Cat’s Eye View, you can see a cat sitting in a New York apartment. They are looking out the window at the city scape. If this cat is anything like mine, they are probably daydreaming about their next meal.
Michaelangelo’s Garden Shed is a 500 piece puzzle that depicts some of Michaelangelo’s most famous paintings as people gardening. On the ceiling there are images like The Creation of Adam but it is of two gardeners passing a pack of tomato seeds. It is the Sistine Chapel of garden sheds!
When I am working on a New York Puzzle Company puzzle, I always start with the words “The New Yorker”, as well as the date and price. These pieces are super easy to spot when sorting a puzzle. It’s always fun to work on one of these puzzles on the date that is listed on the puzzle. Michaelangelo’s Garden Shed was published on April 22nd - let us know if you are working on a New York Puzzle Company puzzle on the same day as the published date!
