🧩 Alison @FilleyPuzzles

Alison and her puzzle collection!

Alison has loved doing puzzles her whole life. As a kid, she would complete the same puzzles over and over again. During Christmas of 2023, her and her family were stuck inside during a snowstorm. Her dad suggested grabbing one of the old puzzles from the basement to help pass the time. She was so excited to find one of her favorites, “Bon Voyage”, featuring a cat that is all dressed up for a tropical vacation. Putting that puzzle together as a family brought back all the happy memories of puzzling as a child, and she was hooked again!

After the holidays, she purchased a few puzzles and hasn’t stopped puzzling since. She started her account in March of 2022 after constantly sending puzzle photos in her family group chat. She has discovered the “magic” of #Puzzlegram, and has met many new friends, learned about new brands, and has rapidly grown her collection of jigsaw puzzles. Her cat, Ginger, often is her “puzzle assistant” as she completes puzzles.

🧩 Jessa @JigsawJessa

Jessa is a stay-at-home mom of three sweet kids, a birth doula, and an aspiring illustrator. Puzzling has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. As a child she collected 3D puzzles and would often pretend to be in puzzle competitions and race against herself while puzzling. Now, she puzzles because it brings her peace in the midst of her whirlwind of a life.

All the modern day illustrated puzzles spark joy deep within her soul and you will find she is drawn to those the most. Although sometimes she has to break out the difficult ones just to prove (to herself) she can do it. Details are her absolute favorite and with puzzles you just can’t miss them!

The two things Jessa dreams to do the most in the puzzle world, are #1 to compete in speed puzzling competitions and #2 to have her artwork made into puzzles.

Let’s hope she gets to do both someday!

🧩 Donnalouise @4loveofpuzzles

Donnalouise has lived in New Zealand for the past 10 years and is now an official Kiwi. She has always loved doing jigsaw puzzles with her interest reaching new heights in 2016 when she started gluing and framing the ones she loved to decorate the house. Years ago, she had a YouTube channel in which she reviewed perfumes but her love of puzzles surpassed her love of fragrances and “For the Love of Puzzles” was created. The outro music that she uses in all her puzzle videos was actually the intro music for her perfume videos - which she composed herself.

She loves building epic large puzzles like Grafika's 54,000-piece Travel Around Art. She recently started speed puzzling in October 2022. She has been featured on the front page of a local newspaper, had an interview on a national radio show and has a display featuring many of her completed puzzles as a local business. She is happily married to a very supportive husband who encourages her love of puzzles. Together they have rescued two pound dogs - Odin and Thora - who now live their best spoiled and loved lives.
